Nina Drucker Haydn String Quartet Prize
This prize for the performance of lesser-known Haydn string quartets is made possible by the generosity and foresight of the late Nina Drucker. Nina was an avid concertgoer and passionate supporter of the London classical music scene who generously remembered the Academy in her will to establish the Nina Drucker Fund. Details of the finalists and their programmes will be announced on the website after the closed preliminary round on 27 June.

Assassins
The stories of individuals who have attempted presidential assassination at different points in US history are brought together to explore the dark side of the American Dream. A daring and unnervingly funny study of success, failure, and the questionable drive for power and celebrity.
Assassins includes includes scenes of and references to violence, including guns and gunshots, death, suicide and strong language. Recommended for ages 15+.

Impending Change: Music in the Lead-Up to the 1917 Russian Revolution
Cellist and PhD researcher Liubov Ulybysheva explores the music of Myaskovsky, Gnessin, Glière and Prokofiev, who were active before the Russian Revolution of 1917 and had to adapt to the demands of the new Soviet regime while upholding their unique musical styles.
