Academy students explore various interpretations of Pierre Louÿs’ iconic and controversial character: Bilitis. Using Debussy’s song cycle Trois chansons de Bilitis as a backdrop, they investigate themes of innocence and sexuality through lesser-known mélodies by French composers of the same era.

The lift connecting the ground floor of the main building to the Susie Sainsbury Theatre, Angela Burgess Recital Hall and Concert Room is currently out of service. This means there is currently no step-free access to these venues.
