A match made in heaven. Two comic operas present a tale of bourgeois infidelity and the challenges of loyalty and discretion in a time of conflict. Bohuslav Martinů explores the complexities of the human condition through the wildly expressive and inventive extremes of his imagination. Twice Alexander is performed in a new English translation by Professor Timothy Jones, Deputy Principal (Programmes and Research).
