Ryan Wigglesworth, Richard Rodney Bennett Professor of Music at the Academy, leads the Knussen Chamber Orchestra in two major works by Mozart and two first performances: Judith Weir’s Planet and Wigglesworth’s own solo piano piece, Glasmelodien.

Formed in memory of the legendary British composer Oliver Knussen, the Knussen Chamber Orchestra comprises current Academy students and recent graduates performing alongside established professional musicians.
