A gorgeous tapestry of Spanish music from the 16th, 18th and 20th centuries, from Frederic Mompou’s cycle of intimate, meditative miniatures to Antonio Soler’s flamboyant sonatas and the sacred music of Antonio de Cabezón.

Xiaowen’s debut recording of this repertoire, Music of Silence, will be released on Linn Records on Friday 12 April.
